Delegate Relations Executive

The Position:

We are looking for superstars to grow our delegate relations team. This is a junior sales & marketing role with extensive training both at the start and ongoing, and opportunities for advancement as early as 6 months in. Delegate Account Executives typically earn $55,000-$60,000 in year one, with the chance to earn more.

The current role is temporarily work from home due to COVID-19. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, and are usually a 2-3 part process. Onboarding, trainings and team meetings (if hired) will be held via Zoom.

The Location:

Headquarters are in Midtown, New York City, with plans to open a second office on the West Coast. Applicants from across the country are encouraged to apply, as we have a robust remote system and will assist with technology requirements. The company will help with relocation once feasible, with an option to stay remote.

Business Development Representative

The Position:

The sales team has scaled 300% over the last 3 years and we are looking for the next wave of talent to continue this growth. This is a junior sales & marketing role with extensive training both at the start and ongoing, and opportunities for advancement as early as 6 months in. Business Development Representatives typically earn $55,000-$60,000 in year one, with the chance to earn more (uncapped commission)

The Location:

The company headquarters are in Midtown, New York.

The current role is temporarily work from home due to COVID-19. The company will help with relocation once feasible, with an option to stay remote for the right candidate (ability to be in office once we re-open is preferred)

What you will do:

  • Identify, contact, and qualify accounts through phone, email and social outreach
  • Initiate conversations with key decision makers around their specific challenges
  • Work directly with our Account Executives and Sales Managers to drive pipeline through personalized outreach
  • Conduct context gathering and qualification calls with prospects in order to drive new sales pipeline

Key Requirements and Responsibilities::

  • B2B event planning and/or operations experience is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Highly efficient in time management and can meet deadlines under pressure
  • High Proficiency in MS Office Word, Outlook and EXCEL (minimal work done in PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter; ability to work independently, but also fit into a strong team environment
  • Creative problem solver, resourceful and able to think strategically
  • Managing external vendors, sourcing venues and event locations
  • Event attendee and client management
  • Spreadsheet organization and administrative tasks associated with event planning and execution
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Salary: $35,000 base + bonuses
